Portrait of Clémence Carré

Clémence Carré is a Paris-based film editor (cheffe monteuse), trained in the editing department of La Fémis, France’s national film school, class of 2013.

Her very first feature set the tone. She edited and co-wrote Léonor Serraille’s Jeune Femme, which took the Caméra d’or at Cannes in 2017 and earned a César nomination for Best First Film. Since then she has cut Serraille’s Un petit frère, in Official Competition at Cannes in 2022, and 27 ans et demi (Ari), in Competition at the Berlinale in 2025.

Directors come back to her. Léonor Serraille, Émilie Noblet and Judith Davis all started with her on short films and kept her for their features, up to Netflix’s Dix pour cent, the film version of Call My Agent! Her range covers fiction features, series like Zorro and HP, documentaries, TV films and hybrids of live action and animation.
